Stand For Truth started when Rob Hood, a conservative Christian in rural Mississippi, grew weary of events unfolding across America that threatened the very core of the Bible's teachings of right and wrong and of morality, ethics, family values, and respect for a higher authority.

Special interest groups on the left side of the political spectrum are waging war against Christianity in an attempt to silence any public announcement of God, let alone the saving power of His only son, Jesus Christ.

Prayer in schools is being threatened. The Ten Commandments are being torn down. The Pledge of Allegiance is being attacked because it gives credit to God for our country's well being. Christmas is now "Happy Holidays" and the name of Jesus at this time of year remains under constant attack. Same-sex marriage lawsuits threaten God's Holy purpose and original plan for matrimony between one man and one woman forever. Abortions are now being made common and the only answer the political pundits have is contraception while deifying abstinence as it is taught in God's word.

Mr. Hood originally published a book called, "Issues That Matter: America's Moral Battleground" in an attempt to spread the word of God's plan of salvation while at the same time addressing these issues according to what the Bible has to say about each one of them. This book is featured on this web site.

The purpose of this site is to continue to spread the infallible word of God without the well known left wing political correctness as well as discuss the most controversial issues affecting Christianity in America today from a conservative point of view.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Jesus - is Savior and the only way to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

Life - Life is precious to God and thus we believe that abortion is wrong.

Liberty - We believe in the conservative ideals that made America what it is today according to our forefathers' intentions when they drafted our U.S. Constitution and prayed to God for guidance during this time.

Truth - We believe that there is an absolute moral truth that is derived from the word of God.

Freedom - We believe that all mankind deserves freedom from tyranny and absolute rule. God's creation was meant to be free and only from Salvation through Jesus Christ can man be truly free.

ABOUT ROB HOOD

Rob Hood grew up in rural Mississippi and was rooted in the doctrine of the Southern Baptist Convention and its teachings of Biblical right and wrong, accountability to a higher authority, and the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was a participant in Bible Drill for nine years, a Southern Baptist Convention program devoted to educating children and youth with scriptures from the Bible for use in everyday life situations. He graduated from Holmes Community College in Grenada, Mississippi with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Electronics Technology and is currently employed as an Electronics Technician with HAM radio equipment manufacturer. He is also a Federal Communications Commission licensed Technician Class HAM radio operator and lives in North Mississippi.
